Elected to City Council in 2018, Steve is an award winning broadcaster who spent 20+ years in media anchoring at BCTV and Global TV.  Steve now works in the corporate sector leading communication strategies. He has been an ambassador for the Canucks Autism Network, hosted numerous events with BC Children’s Hospital and the Child Development foundation of BC. His charity work earned him international recognition when he was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. Steve is active in local sport in coaching in soccer, lacrosse and ice hockey.
