Rob Colombo - President

Rob is well respected leader in provincial high school sport administration.

 

Professionally, Rob works in School District 43, serving as Athletic Director at Riverside Secondary since 2002 as well as a Student Support Educator. He previously served as 1st Vice-President of the BC School Sports (BCSS), Chairperson of the BCSS Competitive Standards Committee and was a member of the BCSS Disciplinary Committee. He is the founding and current president of Fraser North Athletics (BCSS regional zone).

 

Rob is a Teacher and Vice-Principal of Summer Programs for the Coquitlam International Education, the largest in the province of BC. Additionally, he is Riverside’s representative for the Coquitlam Teacher’s Association. Rob earned his Bachelor of Science degree from UVIC, his Bachelor of Education degree from UBC, and completed his Masters degree in Educational Leadership in 2008.

 

Rob’s sporting life includes coaching junior varsity volleyball for Riverside Secondary and serves as a regional official for Volleyball Canada. Additionally he has extensive coaching experience in rugby, golf, and swimming. Rob coaches lacrosse, both field and box play, for the Poco Saints and Riverside varsity teams.
